Your Profile and Settings
Your Profile page is where you manage your personal account information, display preferences, and subscription details.
Accessing Your Profile
Click your username or avatar in the top-right navbar and select Profile, or navigate directly to Account > Profile.
Display Name
Your Display Name is the name shown in the app's interface and in shared gardens. It can be different from your account email address. Update it at any time by editing the Display Name field and clicking Save.
Zip Code
The Zip Code field powers two important features:
- Weather Widget — the Dashboard weather widget shows current conditions and a 7-day forecast for your local area
- Growing Zone — TilthIQ uses your zip code to determine your USDA hardiness zone and average frost dates, which power the Crop Plan wizard's date recommendations
Enter your 5-digit US zip code for best results. If you are outside the US, enter your postal code — zone lookups may have limited coverage in some regions.
Changing Your Email
Your email address is your login identifier. To change it, navigate to Account > Change Email (separate from the Profile page). You will be required to confirm your new email address via a verification link sent to the new address.
Subscription Tier
Your current subscription tier is displayed on the Profile page:
- Free — 1 garden, 20 plantings, no AI features, no teams
- Garden Pro — unlimited gardens and plantings, Garden AI, growing zones, PDF export
- Garden Team — everything in Pro plus team collaboration
Click the Upgrade link next to your tier name to go to the Billing and Plans page.
Notification Preferences
Scroll to the Notifications section to configure:
- Email Notifications — on or off for task reminders
- Daily Digest — a morning summary email of today's tasks and upcoming events
- Weekly Digest — a weekly planning email with upcoming plantings and harvest windows
- Digest Hour — the hour of day (0 to 23) when digest emails are sent
Deleting Your Account
At the bottom of the Profile page, a Delete Account link opens a confirmation dialog. Deleting your account permanently removes:
- All gardens, locations, and plantings
- All seed inventory records
- All tasks and task history
- Your account credentials
This action cannot be undone. Export any important data before deleting your account.
